You are here: SpaceLawWiki Web>WebHome (10 Aug 2008, JonCard) Welcome to the Space Law WikiOne of the exciting things about the emerging space interest is that the unique environment of Outer Space challenges and rejects a lot of our understanding of social and legal issues. This wiki is established to explore those issues together. We believe that visionaries, like the United States' Founding Fathers, are out there waiting to show us their greatness, they only need knowledge of our needs and a way to emerge in this crowded world. The issues of law and policy are contentious and these are very partisan times. We all have our opinions, including the administrators of this site. We all need to recognize is that the law transcends ideology; it's first responsibility is to practical truth. The law must not only conform to our ideas, but our ideas must conform to the world. We each carry our perception of the world with us and we discover more truth about the world by sharing our individual perceptions of it. Our pledge to our readers is to confront ideas with ideas and to reserve the right to edit posted materials to police civility and usefulness, not ideology, and we expect the same from our contributors.NOTICEI'm sorry about the recent outage. The servers were being moved and were delayed in transit. Also, the "up time" may be a little spotty over the next few days, as they get settled in their new home. Articles will also be updated more frequently as my Summer of Complexity comes to an end and I have things like time and references at my disposal again. Thank you.SpaceLawWiki Web UtilitiesSet ALLOWTOPICCHANGE = TWikiAdminGroupEdit | Attach | Print version | Backlinks | Raw View | Raw edit | More topic actions History: r8 < r7 < r6 < r5 < r4 Topic revision: r8 - 10 Aug 2008 - 17:25:35 - JonCard |
